NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Sarah McCalden

From chasing ÂŁ10 notes to creating financial wellbeing

There was a time in my life when every decision I made revolved around finding enough money for my next hit. I know what it’s like to feel trapped, powerless, and defined by circumstances. When I got clean in my 20s, I had to rebuild everything from scratch — not just my finances, but my self-worth, my belief in myself, and my vision for the future.

Fast forward to today, and money is no longer the enemy it once was. I’ve run marathons, built a business, 10x’d my income, and more importantly, I’ve created a life where financial wellbeing supports every other part of who I am. That transformation showed me something powerful: financial change is never just about the numbers — it’s about how you see yourself, the choices you make, and the life you allow yourself to create.

Why I do this work

So many women I meet are smart, educated, and earning well — yet they still feel stressed, disorganised, or even ashamed when it comes to money. They’ve been told the problem is mindset, or that they just need to budget better, or that the answer is earning more. But none of those on their own actually create lasting change.

My work is different. I centre everything on financial wellbeing — combining evidence-based research, practical financial education, and deep psychological insight with my own lived experience of transformation. This means I don’t just help women feel more positive about money; I guide them through a holistic journey from awareness and education to implementation and measurable outcomes. The result is lasting financial wellbeing that touches every part of life, not just the bank balance.

What I’ve created

Over the past 8 years I’ve built programmes, workshops, and communities that support women to step into clarity, confidence, and control with their money. My work blends:

Proven frameworks like the Financial Wellbeing Pathway™ and Sacred Money Archetypes®

Personal growth principles I’ve trained with Jack Canfield and Bob Proctor

Practical strategies for spending, saving, investing, and planning

Grounded research through my partnership with Newcastle University, exploring women’s financial psychology and behaviour

It’s this mix of science, strategy, and lived expertise that makes the work powerful — and different from anything else out there.

Who I help

I work with women who are ready to stop avoiding money and start creating financial wellbeing on their own terms. Many of them are in their forties and beyond, running successful businesses or working in high-level careers. On the surface, they “should” feel financially secure — yet underneath they’re stressed, disorganised, or frustrated that they don’t have more to show for their success.

If that’s you, you’re not alone. And you don’t need more guilt or shame — you need a clear, supportive pathway forward. That’s exactly what I provide.
